Registration for a monthly pass is open!  You may register for day passes and pick specific days as well.  Additional months/days will become available five days prior to the first of each month.

After School At Pollard (ASAP) is a program for students in grades 6 to 8. ASAP is a warm and welcoming environment, staffed with great teachers, held every day from 2:20 to 6:00 PM. Transportation is available from High Rock to Pollard(Bus #5).  ASAP helps students support each other, love learning, explore freely, and maybe develop a passion for something new! The program, drop-in, cost is $22 per day.

The Day to Day at ASAP
Students arrive at ASAP Homebase (the Pollard cafeteria) between 2:20pm and 2:30pm. They check in with ASAP's on-site coordinator and are then free to relax. Activities and guided play typically begin at 3:00pm.  Students choose to participate in the offered programing, to do homework, or to simply hang out with friends in the permitted locations. Cell phone use is NOT permitted (unless contacting a parent) though students are welcome to use their NPS distributed iPADs to do homework.  Please pack snacks for your children to eat at ASAP.

If your child is a 6th grader, he/she will ride the bus (bus # assignment to be determined) from High Rock to Pollard at 2:10pm, school dismissal time.  When he/she departs the bus at Pollard, he/she will enter the front door and turn left toward the stairwell. He/she will descend that set of stairs and enter the cafeteria - or ASAP Homebase - where upon he/she will be greeted by the ASAP Site Director.

If your child is a 7th or 8th grader, at dismissal, he or she will simply walk downstairs to the Pollard cafeteria and report to and check in with the ASAP Site Director.

Children may walk home from ASAP if they are granted permission by parents. If you wish for your child to walk home from ASAP, a parent, (in person) must submit a handwritten note stating that their child may walk home, designating also the time at which they are permitted to leave the program.

When you arrive at Pollard to pick up your child, you may park at the rear of the building (by Glenwood Rd) and enter the back doors by the gymnasiums. Upon entering the building, turn right and you'll find ASAP Homebase (the Pollard cafeteria).

ASAP ends at 6:00pm. If you are late to pick up your child, you will be fined $20 every 15 minutes beyond 6pm.

Behavior Policy:
It is our expectation that students in this program will follow their teacher's instructions. Students are expected to be respectful of their teachers and peers. Students must use only materials designated for ASAP and use them appropriately. If your child does not meet these expectations, we will communicate with you to discuss his or her behavior. If after such communications your child's behavior has not improved, we will ask you to withdraw your child from the class and no refund will be given. If your child exhibits threatening physical behavior towards others in the class, he or she will be withdrawn immediately and no refund will be given.
