Health and Safety
NCE programs will adhere to all Covid safety guidelines in place for Needham Public Schools.

NCE offers classes that appeal to every child—including: performing arts, STEM topics, electronics, engineering, science, basketball, fine arts, games, chess, crafts, digital art, technology and more! Classes begin at the end of the school day. Students are dismissed to the designated NCE waiting area of their school, where they are supervised by the NCE On-Site Coordinator until their instructor arrives to escort the students to their classroom. Classes are 60–90 minutes long, once a week for 5–10 weeks.

In adherence to the Needham Public Schools Visitor Protocol During COVID-19, students may only register for in-person NCE classes at their home school. Virtual classes are open to all.

NCE Elementary programs are open to all students. Are there special considerations we should know about so that your child will have a positive experience in the program? If so, please list them in the designated areas of the online registration form.

Scholarship assistance is available. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch are invited to take a class during each season of NCE Kids' programming at a reduced price. Please contact the NCE office for more information: carolyn_colonna@needham.k12.ma.us or 781-455-0400 x5.
