Celebrating 59 years of service to Needham Public Schools!

The Needham Science Center
strives to be a state-of the art resource for elementary students and teachers that inspires teaching and learning about our natural and engineered world. Located at the Newman School, the Science Center serves as the science curriculum and professional development resource for Needham grades K-5. We provide kits and lesson materials, live animal visits, equipment, and field trips.
In line with the district’s goals around equity, we continue to work on making the science & engineering curriculum more equitable and accessible to all.
